Dr. Lindsey Himmel
Dr. Lindsey Himmel has her doctorate in physical therapy, BS in Exercise Physiology, and is a PMA certified Pilates instructor. She is the clinic director at USA Sports Therapy on Fisher Island and also treats patients at our Miami Beach location.
Dr. Himmel incorporates Pilates based exercise as part of therapy to safely strengthen and stretch core and extremity muscles to improve her patients’ symptoms and their ability to perform normal activities of daily living. She also specializes in various soft-tissue techniques we feature at USA Sports Therapy. Her goal is to provide each patient with individualized care according to each patient’s unique needs. She has experience treating athletes of all levels, from high school athletes to professional and Olympic athletes. Dr. Himmel graduated from the University of Miami where she was on the dance team.
